257. DPP's right of appeal against sentence

(1) The DPP may appeal to the County Court against a sentence imposed by the Magistrates' Court in a criminal proceeding conducted in accordance with Part 3.3 if satisfied that an appeal should be brought in the public interest.

(2) The DPP must not bring a further appeal against a sentence imposed by the County Court.
